Smaragd

Frequently Asked Questions

What's our Returns Policy?

Fenton’s Antique Collection benefits from the same 60 days returns and refund policy as our wider collection. All pieces are thoroughly checked by two experts ahead of being sent out, and returns and refunds will only be accepted if pieces are returned to us in the same condition as they were received by the customer and after an assessment by one of our experts. This can take up to 10 working days. If the piece does not pass the assessment, it will be returned to the customer.

Can I have it in my size?

Our Antique rings can typically be resized by 3 sizes up or down. If the piece you have chosen cannot be resized to the size you require, then please get in touch with our Concierge team to discuss a bespoke ring.

What is the aftercare policy?

Fenton is not liable for any damage occurred to the ring post wear. We offer our Aftercare service to handle small repairs, for any larger repairs please get in touch with our Concierge team. Please be aware that we do not accept manufacturing defaults on antique rings.

Can I see it in person?

We offer appointments to view our Antique rings but please note that we can only offer appointments on Thursday & Friday. If you are hoping to view an antique ring, please let us know the specific ring/s you are interested in so we can ensure we have them prepared for you ahead of time.

Gemstones, Certificates & Valuations

Any treatments to our gemstones as stated on our website are our expert opinion, and all are fully disclosed to the best of our ability. We can provide a third party certificate upon request. Should you purchase an unheated gemstone and the certificate deems it heated, the price of the ring will not change. We provide Fenton in-house certificates with all Antique rings, stating the gemstones used and their carat weights, the metal finesse and the price paid. This can be used in conjunction with your insurance provider. We do not provide insurance valuations for our Antique rings. Please note that some of our Antique pieces will include gemstones that we are not able to source for new Made to Order or Bespoke rings, for example Colombian emeralds. Whilst Antique pieces factor into our B-Corp commitment through supporting a circular economy, we are still committed to sourcing new gemstones in the most responsible way. Please view our “Gemstones” page for more information on where we source our gemstones to order.
