The highlight of the Fenton Tiara is the nine diamond-encrusted flowers delicately placed around the frame, each with a luscious blue sapphire nestled in the centre. Crafted in 14 karat white gold, the flowers are hand set with an outstanding total of 2,793 brilliant cut diamonds for premium radiance on your big day.

Embellished with intricate details, it’s the artisanal craftsmanship by our expert team of gemmologists that makes this tiara so special, a true testimony of elegance.
Reflecting nature
To celebrate the beauty of nature, each flower in this tiara features a diamond pavé of mixed-sized diamonds to mimic the individuality of real flowers. Each Thai sapphire has been set en-tremblant in the centre of each flower to add to the tiara’s natural appearance. The term en-tremblant derives from the French word, ‘to tremble’ and refers to how these sapphires are mounted on tiny springs that create a sense of movement when the tiara is worn. Just like a glistening crown of flowers, the sapphires are designed to follow your natural movement, creating a captivating play of light amongst the diamonds.
The frame of the tiara is formed of gently curving stems and leaves, beautifully drawing the eye to the gemstone flowers. For extra comfort, the base of the frame is crafted from 925 sterling silver, with the flower elements made from 14 karat white gold, making the tiara as lightweight as possible because no bride wants to be uncomfortable on her big day.
A regal legacy
Tiara’s have a rich history, originating in ancient Iran. The word itself derives from the Persian language, denoting the high-peaked headdresses worn by royalty to showcase their status. Ancient Greeks and Romans adopted a similar design, closely resembling a laurel reef to adorn the statues of Gods and Goddesses in sacred temples. Along with visual magnificence, tiaras became known as a symbol of deity and prestige, making them a renowned piece of opulent fine jewellery.

The Neoclassicist movement of the late 18th century saw a resurgence of tiaras' popularity. Jewellery houses took inspiration from the laurel headpieces of ancient antiquity and adorned tiaras with precious gemstones and diamonds, playing with ornate designs. Napoleon and his beloved wife Josephéne popularised tiaras in high society, using their dazzling diadems as a symbol of status, intending to make the French court the grandest in Europe.
In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the rise of wealth across Europe and America made tiaras accessible beyond just the nobility. The upper classes too, would flaunt their wealth with these bejewelled headpieces, making them fashionable at society balls and weddings. Increasingly intricate and delicate designs were formed as the technology behind diamond cutting became more advanced.
After World War II, tiaras became less sought-after as society grew more casual and dress-coded white tie events became less common. However, they remain cherished for royal weddings today.
